I apologize for being deliquent on the articles relating to pleasing God.  As most of us know the simple answer to a life that pleases God is one that obeys God!  However, to flesh this out there are a number of things we can discuss.  Some questions might be, what does God expect of me, can I disappoint God, what does it mean to be a doer and not only a hearer of His Word and how does that get lived out?  Another question that comes to mind is, what does it mean to please God rather than man–how can we live that out?  There are a number of questions, but these are just a few to get us started.  One Scripture we might look at is Micah 6:8, “What does God require of you, but to love mercy, to do justly, and to walk humbly (or uprightly) before his God.”  Another one would be I Th 2:4 as well as I Th 4:1.  These should be enough thoughts to get us started and I will try to comment some on each over the next few weeks.  I know this is Christianity 101, but sometimes I think too many of us flunked that course.
