Sometimes in a world of fast moving events the Christian community has a tendency to get caught up in the worlds sense of urgency.  Oswald Chambers makes an interesting observation that often the “good” can become the enemy of the “best.”  In this day there are many Spirit-filled believers running here and there after the latest thing that sounds more spiritual than the last thing–and we must stay open to fresh moves of God, but in our pursuit of “deeper things” let us not ignore one of the basic teachings of Jesus that “the world will know you are my disciples by your love for one another!” Romans 14:17, “The Kingdom of God is more than meaat and drink, rather it is rigtheousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.”  That’s pretty meatty, profoundly, spiritual stuff–don’t ya think!  It seems to me that there is a call to walk in what we do know so that the fresh move of God will actually have its full, intended impact in our lives and in our world.  Have a great day in Jesus!
